Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle

Been working on my bike this winter.

This is what I started with:

Bought it last year late spring/early summer.

This what it looks like now though I have gotten the rear end buttoned up:

Hope to have it wrapped up and running end of the week so I can shift back to the 53 panel.

My 76 FL (Shovel Head) that I have owned since 1990 - tore it apart and rebuilt it many times - this is her current look since 1998.

Here's a couple of pics of the '84 Goldwing I'm working on.I traded a $300 lawn tractor for it. I got rid of the 100lbs of stock exhaust, and made some from truck exhaust pipe(2.25id),painted with flat-black header paint, with balonga-cut chrome turn-downs. Name: b&b006.jpg

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle

MRpops, that young man looks as happy as me,on my fiirst ride.
My mom didn't want me around 'cycles(this was 1956,I was 4),so she told our neighbor to take me for a ride, and "bring me back scared".An hour later,we rolled into the drive on his Indian, and he told Mom" June, buy him a bike, when he's ready..I had her pegged, and he was giggling, and yellin' "go fast". She never objected, when I got my first bike at 15!
(Even though I broke my collar bone the day before Driver's training LOL)

I added a pair of unbaffled fishtails to my springer, and freshened up some chrome, and she is ready for spring! Those fishtails have that ol' EVO singing!

1997 Harley Davidson Heritage Springer EVO fishtails idle and rev - YouTube
I decided to change up the look of my Springer a little bit. I took the bags off, chromed out the swingarm, added some stainless rotors, and pulley covers, Chubby wide bars, 18" front wheel with a wide whitewall, and an Avon Gangster whitwall in the rear. I dropped it about an inch in the rear. Nothing I did is not easily reversible. I just wanted to change up the look a little. Whenever a see another 1st year Heritage Springer, they all look the same, because nobody really modifies them.

I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle

I have posted other bikes here and now we just finished this little campground cruiser. 1984 ATC 70 with a kicker 125 motor with clutch and a 4 speed. Scary fast for how small it is. Super fun in the kiddie burm tracks at the dunes.

Re: Pictures of your Motorcycle

nice atc 70, my budy has one that we tinker with all the time (you can see it in the background).

after sitting for almost 2 years i decided to get this thing runner. this was in the middle of our 10 mile mini ride. half of that was through logging roads and trails so the whole trip took a few hours.

This has been with me for 20 something years. '86 XL. "I'm just gonna change a few things." I said, way back when. All that's left that's stock is the frame, cases, and rear fender.
