Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Hey David, truck looks good. Your question about the 4/6 drop. We didn't use Early Classic, but CPP kit. You've seen Jimbo's truck on my post, yours should sit about the same after everything is together and you drive it a little ways. Keep plugging away.....Jim

Thanks! They're by Summit(Flowtech). The ceramic coating isn't as great as the picture makes it out to be but I'm more than happy for the price they are!

Speaking of.....there's a big chip on one of the tubes right in the front for all the world to see. It's not so noticeable that it would bother me except that it could now rust through in that spot because it's not coated...so I have to wait till wed for the other set they're sending me... |

Re: Project: 1967 C10 Small Window
Haven't had time for much lately but I took apart and blasted and painted all of the parts for the pedal box and just need to put it all together. Also ordered an OEM style brake booster kit from CPP this morning.
Happy 4th! |

I pretty much have the rest of the pulley system bolted up, I cleaned up my transmission tunnel and primed it as well as undercoated the bottom, I cleaned up the gas tank and painted half of it with the black epoxy yesterday. I was going to paint the other side today but it's been raining. I also got in my CPP brake booster kit and picked up the sending unit for my gas tank this morning. |
