Re: My 1952 truck.
Had to put a seat in and check it out. Getting a feel for what's next in here.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Going to rough in some door panels. Figure out arm rests, map pockets, handles etc.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Still have to add a small piece from lower dash to column bracket. Then I need to notch the lower dash for my stereo and fab up a better stereo bracket.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Looks really good. Your truck is just dripping with cool details. If anyone give you grief about how long you have been building this they need to look no further than your ton of custom touches...
What color will you paint this truck when your done with the fab work? Marc

Re: My 1952 truck.
Well Marc, I have been struggling with the paint for a couple years driving everybody crazy, but then about a week ago at 2am I stumbled on a design created on a software program that I fell in love with. Going to modify it a little though. All I will say is it will have four colors. My wife hates it, so I know it's perfect. Haha. Your interior turned out awesome by the way.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Well me and a buddy held an emergency safety meeting in the shop tonight. It looks like I am going to recess my hydroboost for sure. Seven inches! I'm also going to tuck the rear bumper in two inches. Hate those safety meetings. Especially when I'm the guy that has to do all the suggestions.

Re: My 1952 truck.
My dynacorn fenders fit horrible too. I have the opposite problem with my hood alignment in the front, my hood protrudes about 3/8" past the fenders and it's about 3/4" too wide in the front. I'm going to try shimming the fenders out some since the grill fit in so tight. Your truck is beautiful man keep up the good work!!

Re: My 1952 truck.
Well recessing the hydroboost is not happening. The unit is too long to have under the dash to work with the pedal. Plus I don't like the idea of having power steering lines under the dash. Bummer.

Re: My 1952 truck.
Why were you considering recessing it? Asthetics or interference in engine compartment?

Re: My 1952 truck.
Why not put it on a frame mount from below, hide it all down there?

Re: My 1952 truck.
I was going to recess it because it is pretty ugly. I can put it on the frame because I want a hanging pedal. Engine does not make enough vacuum for a normal booster.

Looked at it again and I am going to be able to recess it a bit. Got started but wife chased me into the house.

This could be a good thing.
I'm guessing it wasn't.

She only comes out there when I'm in trouble for something. Back at the truck on Tuesday to finish this job.
