Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Hey Makovai -

I see you on my way to work every once in awhile around 6:45-7am - You are always going East on 224 just before the overpass over 82nd ave/I-205. I always admire your Blazer when I see it - hopefully I will have mine up and running by summer! I drive a red crewcab GMC with a canopy & work at Warn Industries off Pheasant Ct. Anyway - nice to see a fellow Clackamas County member!

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

yeah, this was the first time I tried to put pics on this site, so I'm still figuring it out. It took quite a while to clean the interior, it was pretty bad, but mostly clean again now. Thanks for putting up the links, I'll figure out the pic posting soon.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Even if the ends of that bumper were pushed in to the fenders to make it flow a bit better, it wouldnt look 1/2 as bad... , well maybe 1/2... but thats just IMO

Cool Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

i thought i already posted here, but i can't find it so here i am. i am in the process of gathering the rest of what i need for a 4" shackle flip to go with my 3/4 ton axles. here are some pics of where i'm at this week. all i need now are new sheet metal, engine, transmission and time. this one could be a while. its a 1972 k5 cst with all the options, even dash mounted throttle cable. i might put the sm465 or the 700r4, whatever i come across 1st. this one will be indestructable. my ultimate goal is to have a truck that can drive over k-rail if necessary.

Re: How Many 4 Wheel Drive Blazers Do We Have?

Hey Jamie72, thanks for the welcome!
That Jimmy was the vehicle I got my 1st drivers license in in 1972, and I had many other 1st's in it too, some really good, some darn bad! In June of 1972, we had a flash flood here and all we got out with was that Jimmy and our lives. Nuthin left to go home too. It got us thru the water and saved us! 238
people died in that flood. I always figured I owed it to fix it back up someday,
so its a member of the family.
I still cant get over all the cool trucks y'all have, from the roughed up ones to the super clean restos! I really enjoy this site!

How is the 4X4 score vs 2wd? ---Later--- DAC
