Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics

Hey anybody check out those new American Racing wheel designs by Max Grundy?? If so, what do you guys think?? I actually love the retro styling in a large billet wheel.. One design leans towards a 50s look, and the other leans to the 60s styling.. Just google it and check it out!

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics

A lot of different ideas in here. Still hard to beat the look of a nice set of GM rally wheels. Here is mine, Appliance Tru-spoke fine wires. Late 70s/ early 80s vintage, with 3 cap spinners. Had them restored last year. 15x10s in the back and 15x8s in the front.

This is probably what I'll end up with.

Do they barely fit width or height-wise in the rear? I'm aiming to either go with 18s, or stagger with 17 front, 18 rear, and a little less sidewall (maybe 50-55).

Re: 60-66 Tire/Wheel Pics

The wheels were $220 each plus $25 each for powdercoating. I can't remember how much shipping was.

Where did you pick up the push through center caps? And what's the diameter of them?
