Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66

Hey Polaris,

The "rule of thumb" is anything over 4 inches should be notched. I'll post up a couple of pictures soon, but I just completed a 4 inch coil drop and my spacing is fine. However, if I were to go any lower, I'd definitely notch the frame.

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66

Thanks for the replies, that pretty much answered my question. Since I'm gonna have the box off it over the winter, I'm thinkin it'd be a smart time to go ahead with the notches. Thanks again!!!

This is at 5-1/2" in the front and 6-1/2" in the rear as measured from the floor to underside of main frame rails directly below front and rear cab mounts.

Re: How about some pics of Static dropped 60-66

I have gone through this thread and see a lot of cool trucks.
There is a lot of hard work showing in those photos. Nice job guys.
What I am wondering is where are the photos of the suspensions?
I am specifically looking to find information on coil over front and rear static suspensions.
I was going to do air springs but can't find a system that has a single set ride height as I do not want to have a variable system.
So I was thinking a static coil over system would be best for what I am doing.
Does anyone know if there is anything available on static coil over suspensions and if so where?

17x7 on 225/60-17s in the front, 18x8 on 255/55-18s in the rear.

I love the look and it actually rides pretty good.
