Yeah thats it...i have mine sitting on the inner fender. I have the notorious kink in my hood so i kno water will get in there especially when i wash the truck

Re: 5.3 swap build so far
id find a small box to cover them with, something easy to take off, id assume you have fuses in by those relays, so you want it easily accessible

Re: 5.3 swap build so far
yup, looks like mine, should be fine tho, I've read that the ecu's are water resistant, and the relays are facing down, but for peace of mind id make a cover if water was getting in there

Re: 5.3 swap build so far
No its running good now...my buddy got all the coils firing...it was a loose ground wire for the coils...now its just the maf sensor thats no good. He even swapped out the maf from his truck to test it and it ran great. I already ordered a new one.

I didn't use the dirty dingo mounts, I had a bit of a clearance issue but it wore down ( I noticed after it was too late, it's holding fine tho

Re: 5.3 swap build so far
Gotcha yeah there was one up there from your area. That's why I was wondering. I'm looking at getting my buddies '01 firehawk that's got 573hp... $11,000 is a lot though.
