spend a good day out in the shop . 1 sanded the Big block mount stands
2. sanded and cleaned the door hinges . 3 . painted the inside of the cab . dang i must be sick Ill have to do some light sanding on the clear .i let some one use my clearing gun and used it for a primer gun and i didn't check it before hand and sprayed my clear and had some grey flakes in the clear so i have the heater going in the shop right now to let it cure out @ 70 deg for 4 hours . shoud be ready about 9.30 pm then wait untill tomarrow to sand and reclear |

Thanks Bomp i like the stuff you found under the tub and the date 3 14 1953
on the wall with the names on it .. should be able to take the frame and cab to the shop net week . to get the Big Block and other stuff i got for the truck i e A/C ill lose about a month of working on the truck While boss is off on vacation so i have this Sunday and one more after the next weekend will see what gets done .. |

Ok Who left the north door open it was 70 Saturday this morning it was 29
spent the in the shopr repainting the dash I wet sanded it with 600 grit to get it down to the base coat to repaint it . it would lift i try to use a primer to keep it from lifting no go . so i just stripped it back down to bare metal reprimed and reshot the the base. and did the colum parts and big block mounts didn't get to shoot the clear i need one more good coat of base . Dad thought i was crazy for shooting when it was 31 out side and wind blowing around 20 to 30 miles an hour .. but the shop was 75 in side |

Thanks Bomp and i havn't cleared it yet I'm thinking maybe by next weekend & load it on the trailer and take the frame and cab to the shop to have the BB put on the fame and mount the cab on it to

loaded the frame its off to the shop for the trans plant 572 here we go..
also cleared the dash and it was around 74 today . and letting the heater run un till 10 p.m to let the clear cure out for 4 hours in 70 dergre heat also primed and painted the ac vents to for got that |

its carburated i get the transmission in the morning and the fun begins
the first thing will be knotching the frame for the motor mounts ill take the cab and bed later in the week |

there from my cell phone not real good pics but just a little update . took the frame in on monday cab in on tuesday and the bed in this morning at noon there was nothing on the frame and @ 6 45 p.m this is what i see ill get some better shots with my camra tomarrow nite |

Went by last nite to see what was done . and they remounted the cross member for the transmission mount up a little . looks like the cab will be ok
so no cutting of the fire wall . will post pictures Monday camra died last nite |

Went by the shop on the way home after work .. They had the body on the frame and then they tell me it not up where it goes .
Its time to cut up the fire wall . the fire wall is hitting the valve covers But good thing i didn't have it painted yet. but here is a couple of pics so far .. |

Not much to report from last week, went by the shop tonite they started the cut and shop and rebuild of the fire wall . so here is a couple of pics .
the radiator should be in Wed to see were the electric fans will go will have more pics later this week |

Just a couple of shots of the fire wall they ad to refit the pass side panel
a male it a little taller so we can take the covers off . and made the contur look like it was factory .. they should have it done Friday . and a couple from is side the cab were the removed the pedal holes and e brake hole will re drill and go from there the first pic is for the truck bed for added weight for the truck to hook up will put the wood bed on top and 67-72 inner wheel wells |
