Thanks.... It looks pretty good to not have been polished, but it could look better, I think the guy who painted it did a jam up job, those fenders and firewall were far from pretty and smooth when he started!
Looks like I will be bringing them home tonight to start buffing!

I know what you mean about the hands. I play doublebass, and have found I can't work on the truck the same days I play. I get hand cramps.

Nice mirrors!! Must have been lots of hours polishing...
I recocnize your hands Goatless, I too play the doublebass once in a while (and repair them too for all those Rockers who brake them ��) it hurts sometimes with the blisters and muscles that don't want to work anymore....

I couldn't imagine playing an instrument after several hours of blocking, sanding and polishing........

The rears are 305/35/20 We have realized that I have plenty of room in the rear after the tubs and narrowing the rear end, the next set will more than likely be a 345 or a M/T tire a bit wider!

Its been a while since posting, we pulled off the Apache for a few weeks to work some bugs out of my 1965 Olds 442......come buy it please..LOL Its full steam ahead for the Ape now! IT has an appointment with Mr. Interior man mid March! HURRY HURRY
