I have cheap Summit Racing brand 3" drop springs (actually made by Ground Force) and McGaughy 71-72 drop spindles. The tie rod sleeve is a conversion sleeve made by POL (Performance OnLine). It's required to connect the inners to 71-72 outers. Actually the inners are 67-70 "outers" used as inners for the correct thread. (long story,... but neccessary)

I also went with manual disc brakes due to the position of the 6-cylinder stock air cleaner.

Page 2, Post 31 there is a picture of your lower control arm ground clearance with the 2.5" drop spindle and 3" drop spring, roughly how much ground clearance do you have with this setup at the lowest point of the control arm and lowest point of the front crossmember?

I don't know about the crossmember, but the lower a-arm is the lowest point at 2.5" from the ground.
This is with a fairly short 215/70-15 front tire.
This is the downfall of these trucks when you lower them.
The crossmember hangs down too low.
That's why the Porterbuilt Dropmembers have been so successful.
Not only do they lay out,... but they increase ground clearance!

You want the bar level to the ground @ ride height. Position the bracket which ever way gets it closest to being level (which is going to depend on the ride height of your truck).

Scoti is correct.
But I think I have my track bar under my lowering block on this truck.
That's where ECE puts the bracket.
On top of the trailing arm.
On top of the block will make the track bar more horizontal with a 6" drop spring.

Install truck arm bracket accordingly.

Are your front springs loose when you jack the front end of your truck up? With the drop I have 2" modular spindles and 3 inch springs I don't think the bump stop on the upper control arm will be tall enough to keep the spring tight. Thinking of making my own. Have you seen anyone do this Keith? Coming to Des Moines this year?

I think I have seen an adjustable bumpstop for the upper a-arms to prevent too much droop with a short coil spring.
I'm sure mine are loose in the pocket like all 3" drop springs.
It's been a long time since I even looked at my truck.

I would think you could make a set of energy suspension bumpstops work.
Either cut down a tall set or make a spacer for a short bumpstop.

Probably won't be at Des Moines this year.

Grainger & Fastenal both carry them. You can also use a piece of allthread, nuts, washers, & 2 wrenches.

I've used the tools but when I went to buy my own found they were pricy for the top end models. IMO, the cheaper ones were cumbersome to operate after about the 3rd nut pressed into place. The allthread & hardware were much easier when installing in quantity.

I saw that on Instagram. The 69 will get some good love from n2billet for sure. looking forward to where you go with the blazer. I see it in my head already. I hope it all goes as planned
