Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban
Got the new body mounts in and I sure had the old ones wrong. Got them all put in properly and I actually lowered the body about an inch lower than it previously was.

Steering linkage looks great. Your running a BBC right? What headers are you running on it.

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban
Thanks! Any updates on yours?
Thanks! Quote:
Thanks! I got the rest of the front floor finished up and the roof in the front done. I cant do much more with the back floor until I decide how I am going to do a gas tank. I can cut the floor and use a stock style tank or have one made that fits under the floor, but if I do that, im afraid I wont be able to use a reciever hitch. I was at a shop this past weekend and they had an Old Air add on kit that I think I may end up using for the rear A/C. It would be fairly easy to add to the roof in the rear and I think it may be small enough to incorporate into a console and just have vents for the rear seat. |

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban
My rear door panels are in pretty bad shape and I was thinking I could just recover them myself with some vinyl. The first didnt turn out like I wanted at all so I am going to find another pair or have someone cover the ones I have. Anyone know anyone making repros?

Re: 72 Dropmember Suburban
Don't know of anyone making repops. I've got a WTB ad for a third door one and not having any luck. Apparently like civil war gold bars.
