Re: Killers 5.3L install
yeah most of the gauges they have say they light up with incandesent bulbs and they are the regular halogen color when you scroll over em... but those when you scroll over they are pure white, but it doesnt say anything.. just wondering if its an LED or what

They're not LEDs, just standard twist-in socket 194s. Here's what they look like lit up:

Re: Killers 5.3L install
Almost a truck again.
Killer- Do you ever make it out to any of the local cruise-ins? I have got to see this thing in person when it's done. 68SS- What are you doing about the A/C compressor?

Re: Killers 5.3L install
progress for today, got the a/c condenser, drier, hard lines installed... the hard lines goes through like the factory ones...... modded the headers for a
v-band style connection, i dont like the slip-on desighn that they originally had..... then installed them.... also working on the wiring, this will take some time to hide all the wires, as you can see just a few.... and finally installed the pass fender so it'll hold the rad. support firm to start installing the 5000 CFM electric fan we're going with... that should be enough even for a 120* arizona day, or hauling any boat .... Are you using the factory radiator? How are you hooking up the steam tube/vent?
