Re: 66 slammed hearse

As the other guys have said, good luck with it. Let us know if we can help in any way.

I have an old 72 Demon 340 and my wife tells me if we ever split up she's taking it. I told her it would burn to the ground before I lost it in a divorce!!!

Re: 66 slammed hearse

Thanks for all the kind word and support, I am lucky to have so many good people behind me.

On another note, I have gone back to working on my 27 T sedan. I am trying to get it on its feet for the summer, and the ex cant touch it. I will post some teaser pics as soon as I can get Jared over to take them.

My ex's lawyers backed off my car once i "found" my lein papers for the car from a mechanic that I "owed" for some shop labor.

I was going to suggest something like that, but I'm not sure how that would hold up in court. Would be sweet to hand the EX $2.50 and say "There's your half"

If you notarize the title and make it legit, theres nothing to be said.

I would find that "mechanics lein". I think that is your easiest way out. Just make sure the mechanic will sell it back.

I thought the problem with KD's ex was with the Burb and not the 27 T

Re: 66 slammed hearse

I know, I know.... the dreaded blue oval. You will all be happy to know that the blue oval will be CHEVY POWERED! I am putting my 348 in it for the time being till I get the baby hemi built. We call that BUILT FORD TOUGH WITH CHEVY STUFF! The corpes carrier is sitting in the snow in front of my house creeping out the neighbors and driving the local police crazy. They all hate that there is a hearse parked in my driveway and have went as far as calling the sheriff to get it removed. I told him, come on man, dont let your first ride in a hearse be your last.

I have to add that Kevin Murphy, The man that sold me the burban, Died of congestive heart failure this morning, 2/9/2009. He was a great guy, a fellow junk collector, a valuable resource for parts and just an all around good dude. He will be greatly missed.

In case anyone is wondering, NO I wont be driving him to his final resting place, even though that would be an intresting last ride.

RIP Kevin Murphy
