Alrighty now, got some progress.

First off, I wouldnt be able to do much with out this bad boy.



And while I was behind the garage, I had to get a pick of my pups.



I got the passenger side of the bed done. I also swapped out the back part of the bed next to cab since mine was rusted out at the top.







I started to sand on the driver side door agian, got fed up and pulled both the new doors off and put my old doors back on for now. I will take the new doors for the truck and lay them across my saw-horses to sand them. It will be much easier IMO. And last but not least, I xleaned up one of my heads today and painted it silver.

Yeah, that's the way I do them, they come off easy and are a lot easier to sand. Keep it up!

Im trying man, Im mowing yards right now to make some money for the truck. And Im trying to sell my 350 I got laying around to pay for the windshield and stuff.

Mine is ready to go, drop it in bolt up the exhuast and put a carb and spark plug wires on it.

Got some progress done on the motor today/night. I cleaned the heads, most of the brackets and pullys, and the engine block. Here are the pics.


When I started this afternoon around 3.





Finish cleaning of one head, only took me around 2 hours.



Here is the power steering and the water pump pully being primed then painted.





The motor after around 3 hours of cleaning, then re-cleaning, then re-cleaning agian.



The brackets all painted up.



And the heads all painted.



Now it is 2:30 in the morning, I have been working non stop for 11 hours, Im gonna go take a shower and go to bed. Tomorrow I hope to get the bed in primer.

Well I have gotten some stuff done, I got the truck put mostly back together. Im going tomorrow morning to get another set of doors that actually fit. I got most the motor put back together, whole top end is on. I gotta get a new timing gear set, and a new oil pump. Then buy the bottom end gasket set.

Still need some random parts for the front end.



I also still gotta build a cross member for the exhaust.



And Im trying to figure out how to mount my old 91 back bumper.

too bad you dont have the 'sport' back bumper for that model truck..it looks like you could have some friends hold it up while you drill the holes maybe?..

Not a whole lot going on now, just waiting to get a windshield so I can start driving her agian.

Trust me, it will be on the road soon. I got to finish the motor, I jsut got a nice site of tires and am getting another set in about 2-3 days, and I got a guy coming to buy my motor tonight. Funny thing is, he is driving from Tenn. So I aint working on it to much right now, but stuff is happening.

where from in TN? Haha about the same here, its gettin there, slowly. I need to know if I need a 'zinc additive' in my oil or not? And if I should check for oil pressure BEFORE I put it in.

Ha alright, it probally will lol, but you had the money. I have ahd no money for like 3 weeks now. No money, no parts, and without parts I cant do nothin lol.
