Seems to me Irish, that you keep buying every one you see.... I've been working on moving up into Oregon for the passed few years, a lot of my friends have moved to either the Ashland/Medford or Bend areas. In another couple years there just might be one more classic Chevy truck owner up your way, just got to finish paying off a bunch of stupid crap from my younger years before I can move.

Ha ha. The barn finds won't be safe. I'll put the guinness on ice. Just let me know when ur on your way up to the chilly/rainy NW. I think it's time for a garage heater for me too.

Sounds good. I will probably take a drive through that way once I get my truck up and running, I'll keep you informed. I'm always game for Guinness with fellow gearheads.

Irish I have been reading your thread great work you and others have motivated me to get going. My truck is a 66 step side my wife drove it in high school in Pendelton so no rust. The truck is disassembled I just recived all the items to lower it 4.5/6 using a 78 as a doner truck 454 th400 the front end is painted and ready to go back together. Next is the frame, need to install the trany and trailing arm crossmembers. So keep posting your work it helps others. Buy the way I'm in North Plains I have a small UCUTchristmas tree farm so drive one of your trucks up and get a tree.
Thanks

Very cool Farmer. I love when the trucks have a cool history. I'll be sure to swing on by.

Nice score on the shorty. I personally have a 62 and 63 longbed. Can ask you how much you paid for the shorty?

The blocks were in the truck when it was bought....Taking them out and cutting them down is one of the First things to get done....

Yes,
He has got me worried.
If he sees my old 65 before me, I fear I can kiss it goodbye for good.
