had to bring this back again! I know I am guilty for only driving my truck when there is fair weather!

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
This is my excuse for not driving my truck daily... this is typical for roads on Oahu.... pretty bad for lowered or stock anything.... good thing my daily driver is lifted on 35s.

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Thanks bro... been looking for a 50-54 Chevy car lately... I am getting the chop top and white walls itch lately. I would have to give up my c10 if I do it though... not sure how it is all going to play out. I retire next year so, should have more time to build as I plan on building a small shop behind my house.
only time will tell!

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Awesome! Yeah about my truck ... sold it 2 weeks ago! ... still have the rims and my air bag set up but I let everthing else that I had go with it. I cried but, a man has to do what a man has to do.
I sold it to buy a killer 53 Chevy Bel Air but, I was also in escrow for a house (as I retire next year) and I had to come up an additional 10Gs to put down ... guess where the money for my 53 Chevy went? In time... there will be more cars, more trucks and more bikes. I still have my 93 Chevy pre-runner and all my dirt bikes so... yes, there is a black hole in my soul! I still love my C10s though....

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
You can't live in a truck and they're not fun to build in the street, so congrats on the house!

Awe man, sad to see that go but I hear what you're saying. Don't go too far! Would like to see what you wind up with next, even if it isn't a C10.

Until then, here is another pic of my CR250 braaap ... just riding and enjoying life now. On a positive note, I am still doing pinstriping a couple days a week too. It has been the best thing for me to get through not having the truck to play with. I will take some more pics of the projects but, probably have to move out of the "projects and builds" section... - is there an eviction notice from the forums if you sell your truck? LOL I hope not!

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
This works as a trade off for my C10... here is my yard: (not my Ford in the pic/that was the previous owner of the house). This is just the side of the house... There is lots of room for a shop behind the house too. Ahhh retirement.

Re: 1967 C10 "Sinister"
Jason... Waddup bro? How you been? Not much going down here... Got about 7 months left in the Navy, going back and forth to big island getting the house ready. Picked up the K5 for camping and to have a cool DD. It needs work... It's a 79 with 350/th400 12 bolt rear and a 10 bolt up front. Someone put a ton of $$ into it years ago but it seems like its been sitting. Headers and exhaust are rusted, there were some rust spots hidden under that paint. For some reason the motor is weak for a 350 that appears to have been rebuilt at some time... Stock it was 165hp.... Garbage! Lol I blacked out the rims, fixed a bunch of rust spots before they got out of control. Vacuume modulator on the tranny was crap so fixed that too. I wanna build a solid camping rig eventually... Then, someday maybe it can pull a race car since there is a race track on big island. Woohoo

Finally got my old school... I bought a 80 CJ7, fixed it up and traded it for a 50 Chevy Styleline Sport Coupe... She is super rough but, she is mine.
