Imagine how I feel, I buy the parts, and none get sent to me, really takes a lot of joy out of buying parts from me. Fab man sent those pics.Truck leaves to Sierra vista end of month. Motor, tranny, custom headers, exhaust, chassis powdercoat.

Re: purgatorio

Tiddler - not trying to be rude or anything --- But WHY do you keep sending it off to other shops to do the work? - Do you not have any hands? or fingers? or is there some kind of mental thing you are keeping from all of us here on the site

You seem to have some GREAT Ideas that you certainly show in what you have so far, so youre not lacking for any talent there. With a little bookwork and videos and tools you can do all this stuff yourself man!

Thats part of the journey!

Good luck be with you in the next phase... !

Psssh I wish, I've tried , fabrication/mechanical stuff , not my thing. Ever since I was a kid, I could take anything apart. I would put it back together and I'd have extra parts. It's not my thing, I've read tons, if I did any of the work it would look like a true pos 😂😂.

Good start, but why did you buy a long block if you are replacing all the moving parts?

Re: purgatorio

Thats the way motors are (Ive found too)... Love that intake design look, was going to try and have something like that made to cover my entire carburator and with the supercharger tube connected on the front. Just ran out of time and patience with all the motor crap....

Yours looks BIG and sweet!!!!!

Re: purgatorio

Really? The intake , let me be frank, maybe I’m being ridiculous and or dramatic. I can’t stand the thing... it was supposed to have a different top to it. Hogan’s messed up. I told them the truth, it’s ugly ... they got pissed and said they would take it back. Well no impossible, the motor was due for LSx Magazine feature so I needed it. Only thing that’ll save my opinion is if it makes big power on the dyno. The intake can make a motor look stunning, I think you should have one made and go efi. Just my opinion...
