I cut it out of the old carpet. Then I scraped the old carpet off the back of the rubber piece.

I installed the carpet in the truck and cut the hole, then located the rubber piece over it and located the holes. I put four screws through the carpet to hold the piece in place. I pulled the carpet out and took it to the upholstery shop and they sewed it in.

If you have the old carpet you could lay it over the new one and mark the hole with chalk.

Thanks Larry, I’ve been wanting new carpet but knew you can’t get it with that piece. Your truck is looking perfect!

Truck World is best but virtually impossible to get. CARS Inc is a good choice. PUI usually has yhem.

Re: Arkansas K10

It just doesn't get any better than this truck. Every detail perfect. From the firewall mark (such a high pressure proposition) to the carpet vinyl. She's an 11 out of 10 and you're not even done yet. Future C10 Nationals "Best of" winner IMO. Can't wait for more pics.

P.S. Smart to leave the doors off while working on the interior.

I think other Larry has been occupied with his new house

I would guess the K10 has been busy collecting dust?

Re: Arkansas K10

The house has consumed my time lately. My doors are at the body shop reportedly ready for paint. I have driven the truck down the street a few times.

Larry,

I created valve cover decals for my truck. Do you need them for yours?
