Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

^ I've posted in these forums that these trucks still look cool even without a bed....
Your truck proves they look cool even with nothing but a cab.

It does look kind of cool like this.
Too bad the neighbours do not have your same appreciation for these old trucks.

Repost or not I really like that first one. Not so much as a 60-66 truck, but as a stylish T-Bucket hot rod I think it shows a lot of creative ingenuity.

Re: How about some pics of 60-66 Trucks

I've been driving by this 62 for about 20 years and six months ago I finally talked the guy into selling it. I haven't done anything to it except a battery and starter.
It has a 307 that is very tired and it needs a new lift kit. The body has little dents everywhere.
I did come with an 8-track player and a bunch of good ole 70's tapes!

Someday I'm going to start work on it, but right now I have too many other projects.

^ First thing you should do is weld some more pipes and steel fence posts to that bumper.

That would be Fast Freddy.... notice how they cut an opening in the sheet metal above the windshield to stop the "air brake" effect. Cool idea that would require a massive amount of sheet metal work. But the way they did it the truck still retains the classic body lines, but is much more slippery aerodynamically.

I waffle about if I want to flame my truck, then when I see this one I think.... no brainer, do it!

I love this truck...

My Swedish isn't very good.. Here is their website:

That's amazing. I've looked at that truck at least a hundred times and never noticed the roof modifications! There's a lot to see.
