Drove it to work... just pulled into the lot... early... so of course I checked the board... it really is an addiction.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Lately, I just sit and look at it. I am waiting for all of my engine parts. The block, crank, & pistons go to the machine shop Monday. I had to abandon the 307 project. I am sticking all of the parts in a late model block. I will be pressure washing parts this weekend.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Found this on craigslist. Went to look at it and it is brand new in the box in perfect shape for $400.00. Not to bad saved me some coin over ordering one and having it shipped to me.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

I found a used set of 71 K-10 mirrors on craigslist this weekend. They were rusty, so I took everything apart and sanded them down to bare metal, then repainted white. The mirror heads are beat up pretty bad, so I used a set of after market mirror heads I had laying around from lmc, it was a fun weekend project.

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

got the frame all stripped down and ready for the blaster. finally took some pics with the phone. i think my wife took the camera by accident on her three month work stint in south dakota. on to pics

had to hack off the old trailer ball plate my grandpa welded on and the rear bumper that was similarly attached.

for all the great things he was, i am fervently glad that my grandfather was not as good of a welder as i. thankfully it wasnt to difficult to remove either piece.

loaded and ready to head to town

Re: What did you do to your truck today!

Had this on my 82 Chevy p/u almost 10yrs ago... We yanked the drivetrain and junked the body.. I gave this to a good friend of the family and just the other night he called me and asked if I wanted it back because it didn't work on his car and he knew I had a truck now. I DID NOT do the blue his kid was being dumb and painted it.. So now I gotta clean it up and slap it on my 68!!!!!
