I'm running a big block, the passenger side was a breeze, the drivers, well....I thought about cutouts and tail pipes, but the cab floor is hot enough as it is.

Installed new shocks on my Dad's 71 big block.
Took my 72 out from winter hibernation and washed it.

Today on the way home from work, I recessed the grille and lowered the passenger headlight a little with the help of some friends I made in a Hyundai. Also I vented my aluminum radiator, trans cooler and engine oil cooler with the water pump pulley.

I'm sure the sense of humor didn't come out right away, lol. But glad you have it. I'm sure you'll get it together.

Sweet mod........That's a bummer. How's the frame?

I only built shelves above the garage door, for the cowl and an NOS inner grille I couldn't pass up.

Found out my rear wheel cyls were toast. started yesterday and have the pass side replaced. Brake adjusters were froze. Gonna knock out the driver side later on this aft. Brakes have been a little iffy since I bought the truck.

Yesterday actually, finished insulating the fire wall and under cowl with EZ Cool insulation. I applied two layers on the fire wall and one on the cowl area, used 3M head liner spray adhesive, adheres really well.

Less than 500 miles into driving the pickup in its current configuration, the trans is toast!

It was just rebuilt, hopefully the builder stands behind it!

I hate to ask... but what trans is it? If its a th350 or th400, the detent (kick) down cable is VERY important to get set Correctly... or it will slip the clutches and fry a good trans... Sorry for your luck though..

TH350, everything was adjusted right, and it was running good. It came apart under full load shifting into 3rd. I got it out last night and it seems as though the input shaft sheered all the splines off inside or I broke the drum. 500hp shifting right at peak power was just a little more than it wanted.

ahh... May want to look into a built 200r4 they can handle a bit more than a th350 and you also get an O/D... its the lesser known brother of the 700r4 and you can get then cheaper

Your builder may have used some cheap innerds in it... see what he will stand behind and go from there.

my TH350 will not shift down on its own, i always i have to manually do it under load (if i feel it needs a downshift). could my kickdown cable not be adjust correctly?
