Cooling down here, too. It was only 84° today. That 100°+ stuff is over for awhile.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

The urologist rodded out my prostate awhile back. Turned out dreading it was the worst part.

I'm taking my mother to lunch now. I will let you know what we ate.

I don't know how people do this all day.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Tim has been repeating himself a lot lately. I'm beginning to worry about him.

About ten or twelve years after that picture was taken, we lived in Blue Springs. My dad had a residential remodeling business in and around the KC area. He bought a new Chevy truck from Claude Parrish Chevrolet in Liberty, MO.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

The light turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up. He took her to the police station where she was searched, finger printed, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects. He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated Christian fish emblem on the trunk, so naturally....I assumed you had stolen the car."

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Tim we had a bad storm Saturday eve in shippensburg. Heavy sideways rain and wind. I had just ran out to the suburban and my phone went with a weather alert. I moved my truck to under the car port at the hotel lobby. Funny how you got straight rain and 20 minutes away we had a deluge with pea sized hail and 40 mile plus wind gusts.

Re: My Facetruck thread.

Where is Davis anyway? So deep in the hills he don’t have a signal? I hope so. It’s good to disconnect every once in a while. So I’m told.
