I know this has probably been asked, but what are the wheels on this truck, and do they come in 8 lug? (just click the link on top of the broken video thing)

That is one strange and interesting looking truck. It must have served a very special purpose. The overall rig almost looks like some type of tow tug, but the bed configuration seems designed for some other application, perhaps a lubrication truck, but why on such a heavy chassis. It would be interesting to know what it was originally designed to do. Maybe it was an airport support vehicle?

My guess would be a trailer towing vehicle, I mean "Big" trailers, notice the heavy duty draw bar & hitch. Would be nice to know the engine, trans set-up and some history on it....Vernski
