Re: 1969 Short Wide

1" springs & a raised/notched x-member + CPP or PB lower arms will give you added clearance.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: 1969 Short Wide

Hey Mike, I stumbled on your thread and have read the whole thing in the last few days. Man, what a story and what a lot of work. Beautiful truck, and I like how you kept most things pretty simple. It sounds like maybe you have moved things over to Instagram, but I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate everything that you put into your build thread. I took a lot of notes. Thank you for sharing your experiences and how-to explanations along the way. I hope you and your family and your shop and your trucks and your Camaros are all doing really well.

Thanks for checking out my build. It was a good time in my life. I still drive this puppy to c/10 gatherings and on Sundays when the weather is nice.

Mike, nice to see you're still enjoying that sweet little truck! You skated around the Camaros though. Do you have any plans for them in the near future?
