thanks guys , made a little more progress last night building a frame for my radiator cover.....after fitting it this morning i realized i had screwed up , not going to be able to be this thick, gonna have to make it go on a diet ..LOL, more fitting and trimming tonight , on this project i will show all of the screw ups !!

those dimple dies are more expencive than i thought they where , maibe you could have someone with acces to a lathe make them , they seem to be pretty simple to make

I guess thin and trim is "in" there... Looking good though I am excited to see how it looks when its wrapped! When do you expect to get the box back from paint?

LOL,yep gonna have to cut it about in half !! The only thing i told him is that i wanted it done yesterday !! LOL, we will see "paint prison" !!

thanks not the dream painter that i wanted to do it, but the guy doing it is no slouch either ! i think he will do an outstanding job ! and alot more affordable for my tiny budget !

thank you !! Well after yesterday's crash diet my fan shroud lost a little of her modesty, instead of covering her "tanks" now she is going to go with a Brazilian cut and just let those bad boys shine !! LOL, here is the updated, much slimmer version of my fan shroud

and also after 15 years of not having a "real" floor jack, i finally bought one thanks to the local sears store's 40% off clearance !

Have fun slipping even that low profile jack under your frame when the battery's dead and the bags are empty! lol

cant wait to see paint myself....been a LONG time coming !! and yes Longbed67....what to do , what to do !! LOL, well anyway , its about 2 inches shorter then my piece of crap jack !!

hmmm it would be a good idea to add a hookup for an extra battery outside of the truck like behind the rear licenceplate aspecially if you have doorpoppers as whell
