Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

I took my youngest, Sarah, to school today. We got thumbs up all the way there.

I later got caught in some pretty heavy rain and can happily report "no leaks"!

Too cool Drew! You seem to be just sliding the truck into the rotation huh...
How does she drive? and ride?

The ride is really nice, Although I have a slight impact harshness that I'm guessing is because of the 20 inch rims. Driving it is great fun except my feet keep getting tangled up in all the wires. Each time I add to the interior it gets more and more quiet, but I still can hear the stupid roar from the open cone element intake. I may have to revisit that when I have time. I may lose a few pounds from having to park so far away from everybody. I'm also still busy chasing down squeaks and rattles, but I'm almost out of those.

We measured and compared to other carpet sets at the Truck Shop. Their high humps that they have in stock measure 74 inches wide, mine - 68 inches!
Yes, we have a problem. I sent it back today to swap it out.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Drew iám right in the moment with you when you drove Sarah to school as was my self when i drove my daughter Aislin to school in my truck a number of years back, and yes it was smiles per mile , waves and thumbs up. Then on the way home after school it happened the question. Dad the boys are all asking me, dad how much would you sell your truck for. After a moment to reflect i said to her the truck is not for sale, this truck was built and its where long lasting memories are made and for us i cant put a price on that.

I hope she had a good birthday. I guess you need to get started looking for a car for her so she won't want to drive Young Frankie!

You would probably be the coolest dad ever if you built a single cab short bed just like this one for her...

Saturday night picture time.

The Bungalow is coming together, sorry no truck pictures. What is there to take a picture of when you are just trying to figure out why the wipers won't work?

That's exactly the feeling I am going after. Bringing the outside in with as many doors and windows as possible.
