Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Not sure if you figured out what to do with the bumper and the chassis showing, but I thought it would be different if you were able to split the bumper lengthwise and add a piece to make it a little "taller" to cover up the chassis, if you haven't thought of something else.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

I cut the frame and rolled it up before I went to powder coat. So it's covered by stock bumper. Thanks that would of worked too.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

It's not quite that easy. I am not sure on your fab skills. I don't mean that rude at all. If you can tig and have the skill. You will need to order around 14 1 7/8 inch j bends mild steel or stainless. Then you will need header flanges for you motor. You will also need 2 four into 1 collectors and two v band clamps. You will have close to 700 dollars in material in the headers if you do it out of mild steel. Hope this helps.

Just keeps getting better. I love the engine compartment metalwork. It'll be like Foose says, "open the jewelry box... Bang! Showcases the motor." Keep it up!
