Green69c10,,,,,,, There are so many beautiful trucks on this site that I usually don't comment but , wow, your truck is incredible. Many trophies await you. Well done.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Thanks again guys and Rocks409! I'm going to the first show with her tomorrow at Atlanta Dragway/High Peformance Chevy Nationals. All those boys will look at that I6 like it's a Steam Engine.

Green69 I like that you redid the crayon marks on the firewall. As time goes on I find that I appreciate things like that more.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
Thanks sourkraut. I wish I could say I built the truck myself, but it was done completely by someone else. I just paid the bills! My grandfather bought the truck new in 1972 so it's been in the family a long time. The bed cover is a custom job. No one makes a cover that we were happy with, and the only one that I could find similar to mine has been discontinued. So, the guy built one from scratch. Turned out great. Has two gas struts, and no latches. The way it is balanced and the way the struts are attached, it stays closed at both fast, and slow, speeds. When I want to lift it up, the struts assist in the lift, then hold it up with no problem. If you'd like more info, feel free to pm me.

Is there a three on the tree behind the I6? Props for keeping the I6 and not tossing it out for a LS motor or similar.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
68 GMC I just got mainly for parts. I've had it for sale on here for a coup[le days but looks like I'll have to start the tear down tomorrow. I really wanted the cool bucket seats for my 59 Gasser project anyhow.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II
That's why I put it off for a few days. It pains me to see another one dismantled. I have a70 that I pulled the camper off of but kept the cab and chassis. It has 39,000 miles on it and almost zero rust. Just has a walk through cut in the cab. Fact A/C too. I'll be selling it soon.
