You gotta be doing something right to keep everyone tuning in, and adding new viewers too. Great project.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

few today updates, i took my brand new 4 core radiator to the radiator shop and had them plug the trans cooler lines, move the heater hose outlet from the front of the tank to the side, they also cut off the neck and turned it around so the overflow comes out the side instead of the front ! I am pumped once i get the new panels done it is going to look SMOOOOOOTH !!! also got my ac and heater hoses, ac lines are 12 foot long to run behind everything !

You have all the body mods any one could ever want and then some, and its looking great! ... but havent heard too much about the engine... is it going to be as wild as the rest of the truck? Maybe an NRE sleeper stored away?? lol

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

Nice to see the engine getting closer to it's home again. I love the old school look plus TBI that was probably my favorite thing the first time I saw your truck. Not built to be a screamer but efficient and reliable and it will have the "look" for sure

Heck, I can't even keep the darn thing running right. It sure is pretty sitting there in the garage though. I don't think it likes going to shows. Runs fine all winter and then BLAM! Show season hits and it acts up. Argh.

At least Mike's only frustration is not being able to say 'when'! Just kidden ya, Mike! All this extra work is going to pay off big time when you wipe up at the shows. I'll bring my Vette to the shows you will be in.

Re: 67 cheby's Dropmember build thread

LOL, nope pretty simple the motor itself will be pretty much like Hazel's motor, i have a TBI 350 bored .30, small cam, edelbrock smoothed intake (will be painted) a Holley throttle body, stock scripted valve covers, stock air cleaner, 700R4 transmission, and then wrapping out the engine compartment will be , The firewall will be body colored in gloss same as outside , the SLOSH TUBZ will be body colored gloss the same and all of the trim panels in front and behind the fenders including the radiator fan cover will be done in a body color Semi-Gloss, the engine will be bright chevy orange will all black accessories March peformance pulley system powdercoated black, powersteering pump powder coated black, Moroso polished aluminum water pump and alt and ac compressor that i will satin finish each of those with a scuff pad ! All hoses and wiring will be routed behind all of my trim panels, i think this is going to turn out SUPER CLEAN !! cant wait, the motor is stripped and ready to paint , i am just waiting as soon as all the mock up is done with my frame and i get it repainted i will get the engine and chassis completely ready while the body shop is finishing the paint ! I have a LONG way to go but it is going to get threre in the next few months !! the first picture is of the motor now ! the second pic is how my truck looked when i first found this site and started re doing everything !! LOL
