Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

FINALY I can join the ranks. It took a couple weeks and a dozen passes on parts trucks(i.m.o.) to find this one that I thought was definately worth buying. Drove it over an hour home on the interstate with no issues at all.

Congrats! You are now part of the coolest group of people on the planet. It looks like your patience paid off! That's a nice clean looking truck! Not many left in that condition! What are your plans for it?

Plans for now are just to clean it up and drive it. In the future I would like to get rid of those big honkin trailer mirrors and lower it.

Love that shifter. Wish mine was a manual. Love that it's a C20/C30 too. Is it a '69 or '70?

I was looking for an automatic but couldnt pass the truck up for the money. Its a 70. Was originaly a 6 cyl. but now has a 78 350 out of a suburban so it has HEI and internal reg. alternator. It has power steering and brakes also which I found odd for a 6 cyl. 4 spd truck but they are listed on the glove box tag.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

Just starting my projects. 1968 K10 long bed and a 67 C10 short bed with a factory installed M20 tranny. I have 2 short bed 4x4 frames. 1 is a 69 and the other is a 72. I'm thinkin' about building 2 Short bed 4x4s.

TonyC66 what size drop and wheel/tire combo do you have. I'm guessing those are twenty's but what size tire are you running. Your truck is beautiful, i love it.

So are you thinking of doing the thing with the bed and front clip with no doors?
