Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

Want specs and information on that shorty dually...pretty much the same thing I am in the process of building. Minus the 59' Impala dash....more pics as well please.

If you want email it/them to me at automationcreations@inetbiz.ca

...and I say keep the black one. That was going to be my other option, keep it SRW and still 8 bolt. I like it...

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

6K? REALLY? For a non-emissions compliant vehicle that can only be registered for seasonal use only (march-October) That alone would have me offering no more than $2500.00 for it.
BTW WELCOME TO THE BOARD
Always glad to see another Alaskan on here especially someone from Anchorage.

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

84 Choo Choo Custom dually I picked up last week. Already parted it out to use the cab and front clip on a new project. Im going to put the cab, front clip and a short bed on a 2500HD frame with a Duramax and Allison trans.

Erkel, that sounds like a sweet build! Make sure you start a build thread for it!

Re: How about some pics of 73-91 crew cabs

I will do a build thread. Going to strip it this weekend. Sold the motor to one guy and he is pulling it out. Sold the rest of the truck minus the front clip and cab to another guy that is helping me pull it off. My rolling chassis should be here in the next 2-3 weeks. Then time to start fitting the cab and clip on it!

I got the first grill and both core supports from a salvage yard in Grahm, Tx. the second grill was quite an ordeal, I wait'd 6 months for a new one. I finaly bought a used grill from a fellow board member and when the new grill did arive I had my girl friend put it away till I repaint the red truck.

I've always loved that truck! But, to me if you're going to have a 10 speed, you better have cubes to go with it!
