Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Door panel looks like pleats are off but it's the shadows. It sucks the full head liner won't be finished but it will look cool. Just really wanted it finished

Keep the pics coming, this is really exciting for me to watch a truck that will undoubtedly make national magazines and probably some TV shows get built and come together.

Beautiful interior man.

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Thanks guy I am glad you like the truck. The interior was sponsored by Jims Upholstery in Folsom Ca the guy is reasonable with his prices and he does a great job. I worked all weekend getting the glass weather strip and trim around the glass in.

Lawn is also in the process of building the center council on the truck. The cab is going to get hard blocked and buffered then final assembly

Everything about this build is fantastic! Thanks for sharing! I think it would look amazing as a fold out poster in a magazine or even specially printed versions. It's just gorgeous.

Eric, when I find you at SEMA you better be easy to spot. Standing right beside this thing with the biggest smile in the building.

They had to be smaller or it would have looked odd

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

Wow all I can say is I am really tired. 1 am last night up at 6. These late nights are killing me. Jimmy and I got the bed together most of the way last night. Tonight I will put the bed on and all the trim. I get the cab back from getting cut and buffed on Thursday. Larson detailing did an amazing job. The hard blocked it all the way to 2500 paper and the buffed. The paint looks like it was dipped in clear coat

Re: Tootsie build for my mother with cancer

The holes are backed with the polished stainless. I know it's hard to see in the pic but it's there. It looks like you are looking through the holes but it's the reflection. Kind of cool.
