I have a 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super 30 custom camper dually flatbed with extended wheel base

70,000 original miles
402 Big Block v8
Quadrajet 4bbl carb
HEI distributer
Pushes about 400hp
Turbo 400 3 speed automatic
Tilt steering
Power brakes/steering
A/C
Exterior cab lights

This is a reliable truck that I have been using as a daily driver. There is no rust and the frame rails are straight with no cracks. No knocks or taps, smokes the tires in all 3 gears. I wanted to make a low rider out of it and eventually drag race it. I have a pair of 20 inch wide deep dish slick rims i'll throw in. I was planning on replacing the dually tires with 2 super wide racing slicks. If I had a choice I would keep this truck for the rest of my life but since I lost my job I'm going to lose my house if i don't sell it.

I have the title in hand I'm the second owner.

This is a investment opportunity. One thing these newer trucks will never be is a classic. If you wanted to do a complete restoration this truck would be worth upwards of $40,000 or more. Everything on this truck is Original nothing has been swapped and if you look at the odometer you will notice that the numbers are perfectly in line with each other because it has not been tampered with. That is how you can tell it has not rolled over or been rolled back. Super 30 is the super sport of the classic Chevy trucks. C10's, C20's, and C30 chevys are way more common and easier to find and very few came with the big block. This particular truck is so rare I challenge you to find one the same.

Call, text, or email me any time the price is negotiable and I might be willing to take a partial trade.
Thanks,

I love when people post "I have title in hand and am second owner" What it doesn't say it that the truck isn't legally mine because I didn't register it cause I didn't want to pay the taxes due and I'm trying to cash in with a quick flip.. A few years ago I was at the Pomona California April Swap Meet with enough cash folding money to buy a truck. I found 3 I would have bought but the sellers were flippers with the titles in names other than theirs. How would you know the truck wasn't stolen and the title left in the glove box?

What's wrong with it? It looks like a good buy from 8 hours away?

Went to buy my Craigslist find, phoned the person who had the truck for sale, said there was a clear title in hand, I grabbed some cash, put $80.00 diesel in my truck, drove 2 hours,to get this truck, got there, title was in his brothers name, not signed,he said his brother said it was O.K. To sell,he could sign it,I said I am not interested, cause I don't know if brother is alive or dead, and I could be stealing this truck,so what would you guys do?I have bought a lot of trucks of Craigslist but never ran into this.

Jocks, could you fix the link for the 70 k10? It is showing up as hubcaps in Waco.

The 70 K10 used to be my truck. I sold it to the board member HeloCrewChief (His first name is Oliver and he lives in Tacoma, Washington.). He got it without the front fenders and interior installed and he put it together. He then sold it on Ebay. I can give you a ton of info. on the truck. It really is a VERY solid truck. Motor and tranny are very fresh and numbers matching. I rebuilt them myself. I really wish I could buy it back.

71 C2500 Sierra Custom Camper with Mitchell cabover $4K (you'd have to confirm it's a Custom Camper, can't tell in pics)

You did the right thing, never try and buy a vehicle if the title isn't in the sellers name, even if it is his brother.

I’ve bought many trucks that were not in the sellers name, always required a bill of sale and picture of their drivers license. I understand why you would be skeptical.

I would of offered to purchase as a non titled truck... Take the title and hope and wish it goes thru with no issues. Always get a bill of sale, picture of their drivers licence and the plates on their vehicle.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

70 K10 $11K
Look into the driveline/SPID closely, listed as "4WD out of a K5" (which is fine, assuming it was just another NP205 swapped in to replace a grenaded one or something like that - I'd (personally) pass if someone swapped in a later square NP203. But VIN is a K, so originally a 4x4, I'd just check closely, that's all)
https://eastidaho.craigslist.org/cto...470568778.html

68 K10 kinda rough, but reasonable price $4750
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/r...486503016.html

71 K1500 $6800 Really like this one, might be a black with parchment combo(!)
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/c...480187976.html

Saved the best for last...
71 K2500 fire truck with 19K orig miles (and appears to have zero rust). Now how cool is that? $15K
