My name is Chris Mace and I am BRAND NEW to the site and this is my very first post, and I wanted to share a picture of my newest addition to the family. 66 Fleetside with a 383 stroker and a 4 speed muncie. Been sitting in a guys yard for over a year, never stopped and then I saw her on Craigslist. Now she is mine!!

just a quick note to say thanks for all the knowledge found here, after looking for what seems like a long time, finally found a truck(or 2)that I felt had some potential..64, big window, 3rd owner, nice paint...more to follow

in your picture, it seems strange to see gravel where I expectged to see grass - of whats left of it during winter. Then I check where you're from. Par for the course.

Can someone help out.. I want to buy a 65 chevy short bed, but Frame is notched for bags.. I am not into the bag deal, just want to do a full resto.. Can I just find a frame that will fit and replace the notched one? Any help would be appreciated

First post on this board, just bought this 61 Chevy. Trying to determine which color to paint it, definately want to keep the white cab and bumpers.

Code 522 Grey is a rare color. Maybe not as eye catching as the other colors but "true blue" ( grey) none the less. My 65 was grey off the line but is now a John Deer Green. I'm just about to paint but I don't know if I'll go back the original 522 or not

Figured that I would show some nicer pic of Dottie.... bout to do a 5 lug disk brake conversion off of a 71 chevy, and thinking about tubular A-arms, lowering springs up front and in the rear. Giving her the 3" drop up front and the 4" drop in the rear....

Yes sir it is... I wasn't overly enthused with the use of pearl white by the previous owner but it will be changed.
