Re: '67 Short Step #2
I actually haven't really calculated that yet. I know that it's at least 15 mpg but I suspect that not having a bed floor creates some drag and takes some away from that. Also the 3:73's and four speed don't help much either. I'll try and figure it out on the way back to Springfield this morning.

Re: '67 Short Step #2
Next time you'll have to bring your dog, he would have enjoyed the show!
Glad to see that you're not scared to put some miles on that thing, because that's why we build them! ![]()

Re: '67 Short Step #2
Great looking truck, I'm in the process of starting a long box 67 and I'll be following your mold pretty closely. I'll focus less on the motor, and a bit more on the chassis and driveability (it'll be a daily)
Oh, and I tought you might like my kicks today ![]() Last edited by brendonak; 09-29-2008 at 06:28 PM. |

Re: '67 Short Step #2
Sorry, I cheated and read your build thread first. Glad you got it back! Post some pics for us when it's in your possesion.
All I've done lately on mine is polish my passenger side wheels. They look damn good though. I'll do the driver side next time I get really bored. |

Nice videos bro. As soon as I get my stepper back we should find a car show between us and show them together.
