Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
Nice truck I have a 67 SWB plan on turning into a drag truck. I'm looking at the suspension and trying to figure out what I need to change or leave. I noticed you said you are using the stock suspension out back with coil overs, and a anti roll bar. If that works good for you I might try the same. Looked like your front end was just lowered but using the stock suspension as well. My plans are somewhere in the 9's with a twin turbo charged small block.

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
This truck has been 5.32 in the 1/8th with a 1.25 60 ft it would have been in the 8's easy! I hope to be in the 8's also with the Nos! It has a fatman mustang II front end! The trailing arms work really well!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
That should have saved you some weight! You might want to opt for drag brakes and lose even more weight and rolling resistance!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
good to see its back at the strip.... wondering if you still have the stepside box and front fenders with grill. here is my project. long ways from yours. i have the famous weel standing stepside on my desktop, have had it there since it was running back then. i started my project long before i saw this one when it was blue... i guess great minds think alike. lol... anyways let me know about the box. oh ya almost forgot i see you have been talking about the rear coil overs.. do you know what size and make they are. whats the weight of the springs. thanks andrew

I sold the stuff that came off the truck but the guy I sold it to might be reselling it! The coilovers are QA1! My truck has the longer shocks with the 14 inch springs! I ran the shorter ones on my last truck and they worked well also!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
Huntsville was fun but we had a few issues so we didn't win anything! We may have hurt the torque convertor with the spray! Which was the week before Huntsville! We are gonna pull the convertor and have it modified to work for the truck on the spray!
