Re: Maggie's Custom
Hopefully ur getting some work done haha... I've barely gotten anything done lately. I check this page daily. Ur def doing a great job and have some really good ideas that I hope u don't mind if I use. you and Coulter have some skills and looking at both of your build threads I have come up with a plan for my truck. I have a ton of questions hopefully u can answer....like.... What size and length bolts are you using on your trailing arms for the drop blocks and rear end. What size length bolts are you using for mounting yor bags. I just got my set of dominator 2600 bags not sure what you r using. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Re: Maggie's Custom
We are back!!! Going back and looking at the thread I didn't realize it has been six months since I worked on the truck!! In that time we moved, added on to the shop, Maggie got a full time job (after graduation) and we got engaged!! Its been a busy six months to say the least!! Mean while Dino finishes one truck and almost done with another! Bomb, Jmorales3181, and coulter have been rocking and rolling on there projects almost passing us by!!
I have many pictures on the latest mods so tell me when to stop!! Someone suggested I add gusset to the sway bar links!! Done! Here you can see the truck sitting on the center crossmember! Got this idea from Jmorales, to get it done faster I done the work with it still on the truck. Trimed up. Plate fitted Welded in. |

Re: Maggie's Custom
Here's a bunch of pictures of the front crossmember, this is a lot of work, but worth it!! It took me a few days to complete!!
I did my frame notch first, I used pictures of Dino's dulley. Cleaned the crossmember in order to start making marks! Marked on both sides using ChiefRocka's thread and my guide!! Awesome write up!! |

Re: Maggie's Custom
Cut apart!
Here in his write up is where I went his other suggest route! I cut from the cut out peices to use as fillers so I wouldn't have to beat it into place. Welded up after grinding, fitting, grinding, fitting.... One of the filler patches, the four lower one's were done this way. |

Re: Maggie's Custom
Ready to go back in the truck!!
Filler plate. Cut some filler plates. Getting ready to weld them in place. I assume everyone does this, other wise you can't bolt it in using the side mounting holes. Jason |
