You never know who is watching you. Haha. Thanks for the invite I might just do that sometime. My oldest boy and his family just moved to Fayetteville and I was driving over to his new place and low and behold there was your shop. I have been busy helping them get settled in or I would have stopped. I will be visiting my grand babies a lot so I will give you a shout.

scrapey scrape... always disliked those wide plastic door guards on that truck. so, now they're gone. Definitely a sit down kinda job. Dang Donnie, you got the eye...

And the ferd, yeah, I apologize for that one, not giving up our loyalties, just running a business. Its weird... but theres 4 ferds on the property right now. Makes me a little queasy just thinkin' about it.

Sir Bomb, speaking of queasy, hope you're feeling better. Get well quick my friend.

Saw that pic of 'Tina on FB earlier.

Any idea of time frame and route she will be travelling Clem?

Re: tuba trucks

Clem,
Did you ever use one of the 3M rubber wheels that you put into a die-grinder
to remove the rubber tape & adhesive? It makes child's play out of that job...
The one that i used was for high-speed but didn't even mark the paint!!!

I think it will head out next week, hopefully. The route is truck to Florida and into a container. Then take a big boat to England. Not sure about the timing but I bet Michael is ready to drive her.

Yeah, I tried the wheel but the adhesive would just smear out and spread the mess around. This stuff was thick and sticky. Thinner and a plastic razor blade seemed to work best.

So Pete and I have been busting out this blue and white long bed. Its a factory air, PS PB, big window for a buddy in Austin. Doing a frame up with a few added upgrades... retractable shoulder belts, 700R, 3-4 static drop, front disc and a built '67 327. Were hoping to have it finished early this fall but as my wife Kim is famous for saying, "we'll see what happens".

Re: tuba trucks

When I was over last year , and we went up to see your little stash of C10s, with the rate you are going turning out great trucks ,you'll have to retire soon (oh yeh you did that already ) you might have too restock or you'll have then all done in a year or two . Love the baby blue and white combination. Wish I was coming this year , but you never know I might do 2017 .

we might have some of that paint left to throw on your truck… missed hanging out at the red fern, it was a good turnout after the weather cleared.

Also a shot of Donnie Johnson's truck "The Buff" which took best of show… WooHoo Donnie…

I appreciate it Johnny...

I mentioned to Rian (Griz) that Tuba has been working on stuff thats off year and off brand and he said that we should show it anyway. so, over the next couple of days, we will. but first is something that is near and dear to me. this 51 one-ton is my 3rd truck ever to frame-up build, finished in 1983 and sold that very day. well, she has come home and will become my new daily driver.
