Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
i ordered the staggered 18's to get the deep dish in the back. Ideally, i'd like the 8.5"f and 10"r in the 18, but I don't think I'll miss .5"...
Boise69, 4.5" bs in the front on the 18x8, with a standard 5 lug disc brake setup in the front, the wheel will be pretty close to the outside of the fender lip. I really don't think you'll have to worry about it sitting in too far. Most people with discs in the front and 18-20" wheels run 5" bs on the front.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
I wonder if anyone buying these wheels uses his truck so conscientiously as a daily driver that tire rotation really matters. My daily driver is an '02 Z28 (same wheels all around) and I rotate the tires twice a year: once in November when the Blizzaks go on and once in March when they come back off.
![]() As for me, I'd rather have the exact look I want and have to replace tires negligibly more often than put all that work and money into my truck only to not have the look I really wanted. To each his own. YMMV. Etc.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
Speaking of tires and saving money ... any of you guys have a good source for great tire prices? Been checking eBay and not turning up too many options in the sizes I want -- looking at 245/40 front and 295/35 or 295/40 rear on my staggered 20s. Not sure if I can go wider on the rear as I'm not in a position to mock the bed up on the chassis (they're in two separate locations right now) but want to get tires ordered.
Sure would be nice if we could get wholesale pricing on some tires to go along with these rims. ![]() Brent

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
If it's an original 5-lug setup, yes. It would be exceptionally odd for all of the parts to have been swapped out to something different (say an earlier 5-on-4.75 pattern). But the best way to know for sure is to simply measure. You can either measure from the center of the hub to a lug and double it (radius x2) or guesstimate the lug circle and measure from the center of a lug to where the lug circle would be opposite it. (Simple to do with even numbers of lugs, but not so with odd numbers.) Hope that makes sense.

Those 295/35/20 sure are short. I would like to see them mounted if one of you get a chance, when you get them.

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
UPDATE-
Well, I have some bad news. the -3 revision is currently only for the 20" wheels in gray and Chrome (when available) The Black -3 revisions are still in production, no certain ETA yet on when they will be ready to ship. and the worse news... the 18" rims have NOT been retooled yet. Eagle gave me an 18" rim today to test fit. -2 is the current revision on the 18" and I can confirm that it DOES NOT FIT the larger 1.25" rotor. It will however fit the 1" rotor. So those of you who ordered 18" rims let me know what you want to do, I can refund your order, or we can upgrade you to 20" wheels. Now that the bad news is out of the way, the good news is the 20" wheels are shipping this week. I should be getting tracking information from Eagle before the end of the week for all of you guys. Once I receive it I will shoot everyone emails with tracking info. |

If I still want the 18's will they ship when the 20's ship? I'll cross the fitment bridge when I come to it.

The 18" -2 version are in stock and ready to ship, you can run them if you trim the rotor or run a spacer. The only deal is they are not a direct bolt on at the moment. |

Re: Boss 338 Wheels **GROUP BUY**
So let me get this straight I ordered the 18's and they will not fit? I seen a cat on here that grinded a little bit around his hub and they ended up fitting I think this was for 20's would this be the same case for the 18's let me know something that way I can either change to 20's or cancel my order thanks
