Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
Shots like those make me wish I had no sentimental value attached to my 71 Jimmy. I'm going to stick with the factory blue forever-but my Baja Bug project car can be orange (and not rattle can this time).
Is that a factory color, or do you mind me asking what paint code if its not? Thanks Erik |

What's up guys, been around for a bit, most of my internet time is over at www.chevyk5blazer.com
Had my 70 for a few years now and since I didn't want to destroy it I got a "dime-a-dozen" Gen 2 to take up into the woods to beat on. Enjoy. |

Wow! Looks really nice. Would love to see more of this ride. The paint colors go well together. Can you post some more pics please.

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
Did you buy the 72 recently? Looks like the one I looked at for sale outside Ashboro NC about a month or so ago. I really like your 71. What drop are you using on your 71?

Re: How about some pics of 69-72 Blazers and Jimmys.
I bought the 72 a few months ago with plans of bags and possibly a body drop cause I can't bring myself to cut on the 71! It seems my plans and mind change every time the wind blows so now I'm considering selling the 72, after dumping a decent amount of $ into it! The 71 has 3" drop springs w/ a round and a half cut out in the front and 2" blocks w/ heated springs out back. If I decide to sell the 72 I'll probably go ahead and bag the 71, just keep a small notch and nothing more. I guess only time will tell but for now I've got the wife's 57 Bel-air torn down in the shop and since she helps pay for all my toys I guess it'd only be fair to at least get her on the road!

Airspeed, Your truck is amazing. It looks better than almost anything I've ever seen. The suburban doors on the back are awesome. Did you do the work or have it done or did you just buy it like that?
