Thankyou, believe me when I started this build two years ago, I couldn't afford these parts either. Things have gotten better which is now allowing me to do some of the things I wanted to do from the start. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Lol yeah I'm still building have been working on the ever exhausting bodywork on the doors. Haven't really been taking any pictures kind of boring lol. I do have some bad news, had to cancel my order for the mild rear dropmember with Porterbuilt, Nate is awesome and very understanding. Sometimes life just reaches up and grabs you. Oh well got to do what you got to do. I will just mildly bag the rear for now with my current c-notch. Will try to get a few pics of the doors loaded up tomorrow

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Thanks Raull, my plans now are to finish this build then worry about getting it down lower in the rear if I don't like the stance. They are never really done so I can always change things down the road

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Teach the girl friend the finer points of sanding tell her it will help you grow closer and she will feel like she is helping with the build. Then she can move on to the body when you are watching NASCAR and bring her a beer once and a while to show you care.

At least all that body work leaves you with silky smooth fingers- and as a bonus, if you get arrested, they can't print you...

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Well not much more to report, doors are almost ready for first coat of primer. It has been really slow going as I only have 1 day a week to work on my project.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
A few pics from last weekend. My brother borrowed a rotisserie from his neighbor, so we made up some brackets and bolted my cab to it. Sorry for the bad quality pictures, my iphone didn't mix well with the garage lights
