That's pretty good, and fits well with the weather we had this last weekend too.

Everythings good down here, just busy. (Work, birthday parties, baseball, yard work, etc.) I haven't forgotten about all you guys, just have to check everything out when I can.

We plan on coming out around July 4th for a week or so (if the good Lord's willing and the creeks don't rise...)

Thanks Willie!!

got some stuff done today.....

did the intake swap and get the serp set-up on. Keep in mind this is gonna be a driver not a show truck....I wish I would have painted the intake, but I didn't have paint and was ready to get it on there. I might throw some paint on it later

I go the driver's side stuff on and was moving on to the passenger side when I realized the fuel pump had to move. I hadn't bought a block off plate yet (and my budget is truely $0 at the moment). so I just cut a piece of steel out of the old under dash support and welded it in the hole. Why buy it when you can build it?

got it in....looks like a nice place for a York, eh?

Looks good man. The engine does look really clean. At least that is one thing that appears to be what you were actually told.

Keep it going man.

Very nice Joe. Why does your motor seem to sit so low in the engine bay? Maybe it is just me? Hopefully I will have some similar photos of my truck soon. But I understand the $0 budget. That is why I can make the progress comments I do. (See, I justify them. )(I might take offense if the some of the things I say came from guys like Bob or Dennis.)

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

The only parts I kept are the stock steering wheel. I have the 85-87 grille that we picked up that day at pull-a-part. A set of repop headlight bezels for the 85-87, a dash bezel, and the bed rails.
