Couple of questions for you.
1) by laying back the windshield, squeezing the A pillars in and not widening the top do you think you will have a problem getting glass to fit in their right? What are you plans for going about this?

2) It looks like you had to cut the B pillar area to align with the door and the squeezed A pillars so do you now need to change out the window tracks so they are also in line? I am probably thinking way to much into this but I can't help my self. You got me thinking

1. Yes glass is going to have to be custom made. I will try to cut down a stock windshield but I may have to get one custom made. The plan is to glue the windshield in instead of using the gasket.

2. I split the b pillar on the inside and the outside and moved them out to fit. The A pillar is leaned back and in to match but we had to cut the a pillar in 2 places to make the angles match . The window frames are cut in a total of 5 places to make them work out right, they had to be leaned in and down to match the cab. It is a lot of work but I think the end result is going to be killer. I will get some pics of all the cuts the next time I get over there but I have to help my brother put down tile this weekend.

Yes I turned my blazer into a truck or a traizer The top was chopped 1.5" in the front and 1" in the rear.

I am glad someone noticed, that was moved forward about 1.5" and the rear end has been moved back to the center of the wheel well.

Mine (except that it's a GMC) looks just like your's did (before the mods of course), and I live an hour away. Now, you're unique fo' sho'. Keep up the good work, man. I agree with the centerline, looks great, and your work looks nice, there is one in town here done like that, but it was never completede, it has sat in a compound now for about 10 years, disappeared 2 weeks ago, i love that idea, nicely done.

It is not for all folks but I like it and will love it when I finially get done. Maybe 2 more years and it will be on the road. Gonna be a while before I have anything worth taking pictures of, there is a ton of welding and making filler pieces to get the top in order and then it will be time for some body work.

I hope mine doesn't end up sitting for 10 years The center line of the wheels is well worth the effort in making them center in the wheel openings. If I remember correctly we moved the front forward 1.5" and the rear back 1". I think it looks stupid when someone spends all the money one of these trucks or blazers and doesn't at least take the time to move the rearend back when they have them down to the frame. Well I had being welding and grinding on the top and was coming right alone until the air compressor took a crap Sucks having to buy a new compressor with it being christmas time.

Check into just getting a new motor or pump if that is all that is wrong. Mine went out at a not so good time and it turned out I got a new motor from Grainger for 1/4 the price of a new Comp.

We figured about the time we replaced the compressor the motor would go out. This thing is 5 years old and it on it's 3rd resto so we cannot complain. My old man found a new 2 stage, 80 gal, 5hp that a guy bought and never hooked it up and now needs Christmas money for $600 so I think we are going to get it Sat. We went to a auction this past Sat and there were 2 old 60 gal compressors that didn't even run, 1 brought $150 and the other brought $175. The next auction they have we are going to load it up and take it down there and let it go if it will bring close to what those brought. They also had a craftsman 3 hp 60gal that was at least 5 years old that brought $475 plus 10% buyers premium and sales tax, that idiot could have bought a brand new one for that

Me and my father have been fitting the panels. We are going to try and acheive a 3/16" gap on all the panels. There are going to be a few filler rods added here and there and we have already added most of the one on the passenger side.

The bigges pain in the a$$ has been removing all that sound deadener that I put in after I first bought the blazer. That stuff isn't meant to be removed
