Looks cool. It is really gonna mess with people's minds as the try to figure out what has been done. I like it. In a world full of cookie cutter frame laying stock appearing c-10's ( one of which belongs to me) it is really cool to see something this far out there. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Wild C10 project

Thanks again guys it does mean a lot that u all like it so much. So I have been sleeping very little this week and haven't slept in almost 48 hrs! Lol but it is all worth making its first show! I'm sorry for not having Brannon post any pics but I didn't take any. So now we start fresh with this crazy hood! Lol on a side not I did figure I would have a few people ask what is taken me so long but only one person made a comment. It was funny one man walked around the truck for about an hr! He kept telling people to come here and they would scratch their heads for a bit. I think they finally decided it was an. S10 of some sort and posted it on Facebook. It had over 1000 likes in no time at all! It was ether a funny day or lack of sleep? Lol

Re: Wild C10 project

Quick question. Has anyone seen a BBC in one of the 99-06 trucks? Think it might be neat with the 67 sheet metal to add a 454?

Re: Wild C10 project

Yea, I'm on the fence with the 454 BBC idea..I think it would look awesome to see it under the hood. There's probably a few more cons to pros to picking the 454 over the 5.3, which I'm not concerned with MPG what so ever on this truck. I now have an option to run a 454 with MSD throttle body fuel injection. Please give some thoughts to help sway my mind...

It's a 'SHOW' truck. Show them what you have. Just think of the Vroom vroom factor and the "Look at that" from the people factor. IMHO anything LESS than a 454 just wouldn't cut it.

Re: Wild C10 project

Badaz chevy guy, I like your thinking! Everyone will expect to open the hood and see a modern 5.3 because of the chassis used..then be quite surprised w the massive BBC in its place.

Thumbs up Re: Wild C10 project

Please go BBC!!!!! I am a big fan of the fuel injection, but you can't beat the look of the "old school" looking intake and valve covers. Combine the new with the old, wait, that's what your already doing!! I love it. Can't wait to check this thing out every day.

Re: Wild C10 project

Looking at the big blocks tomorrow. Thinking Mutha Thumpr cam, rebuilt heads on a 454 followed up by a built 350 turbo put in gear by a lokar shift sounds pretty cool to me. Torn by exhaust tho, flow master or Magnaflow? Opinions??????

Re: Wild C10 project

I would go with a 268 cam or equivalent high energy cam I had a mother thumper in a 454 I built and did not like it It was a built moter with 049 heads When I switched to a smaller cam it came alive

Re: Wild C10 project

I am hooked on Flow's. The others sound good, but its hard to beat the sound of the super 44's. Just my opinion and vote!

We have got to have some more pics. I am addicted to this something terrible!! Lol. It's like a TV show, can't wait for the next episode.
