That's one nice truck. You have a bunch of work into it. Love those Rodlite they are so hard to find used.

That and the fact that the suspension is not up to par as that whole powertrain is heavy as hell...

That Camaro is a little confusing at first glance. Has twins going into the catcher but butterflies on the front. How do the boost go down the throat if dem butterflies open up?

Dare I say this but it almost looks more ridiculous than cool.

Do you know who done his bed?
I am going the same route.
Aluminum or Stainless Steel.
I rather have T-304 Stainless Steel.

Is that blown/twin turbod?...Wow...

Wouldn't a lot of boost from the turbos escape through the big ugly's butterflies set up like that...or at least be conflicting in direction causing a weird turbulance? I know...this isn't a HP set up...more of a "just because I can" set up...but am I right?

Re: Pro Street Trucks/Cars pics!!! im in love with the fatty tires!!

Hey guys. New to posting here, been lurking for a long time. Here's my project. 84 gmc high sierra. These are the only full body shots I have right now. Its a bit more together now. Actually fired it up for the first time this past weekend.

It's still a mess under the hood, halfway still in mock up, and the carb finally showed up. I had to hear it run. 383/vortech v3.

Nice setup! Is that a Vortech supercharger that you converted from their box to a top hat?

Re: Pro Street Trucks/Cars pics!!! im in love with the fatty tires!!

It came with their powerhat, which is a joke. I used a spectre hat and welded a 1" spacer to the bottom with an o-ring seal.

Here's a pic of the hat it came with.

The hat looks pretty cool! Does in not work? I'm considering changing mine to the top hat and was wondering what all is involved. Are you going to run a blow-off valve?

Yes eventually. They say that the straighter the air is before it goes in the carb the more power it'll make. That hat bolted together with a filter inside it. No seal at all. I sold it to a guy for a rat rod. Your carb will have to be setup for blow thru. I bought a custom built billet aerosol from c&s specialties.

My truck already has a QFT 750 blow thru carb. Do you have a link to where you got the hat from? Do you plan on running a blow-off valve?
