Re: The Snortin' bull
Some more minor electrical . I would like to put in a stereo.ONE that is Bluetooth, usb, ipod etc.Though not to be seen and there is a hole in the dash as the P.O had hacked it. And sticking with the original plan I used all the existing drilled holes in the dash as I am going to with this. Now you see it now you don't.

Re: The Snortin' bull
In the Seattle rain the wiper motor siexed up on me. It is the last original electrical part on the truck.I had a job getting the motor out.Now to find a new one.The production date on the dead motor is 3-59.Early for my 1960.

Re: The Snortin' bull
I used the kit from that Brothers sells. Converted my 1 speed to a 2-speed. It appears quicker than the stock 2 speeds also. It has been very good to me. I cannot remember who actually makes them off the tops of my head, but very good units. It has been tested a good bit in the Mississippi and Louisiana rains. I have had it 2 years on the truck.

Re: The Snortin' bull
My wiper motor is not made by anyone for reman.though could be restored. I chose to take it a part.It was in good shape internally .I found that a breaker point spring became weak and contacted the inside body.Shorting it out. Greased the gear drive back up and reassembled, Work's again. Ready to reinstall.

Re: The Snortin' bull
Thank you.Ya i like the steelies and caps.I will go back and forth with them. The slight problem i am having is the truck is squirley with the old "maypops" on it. And it would benefit the true ability of this truck to have a bit more tread on it. Stay tuned.,

Re: The Snortin' bull
New wheels.Well I decided to add some morefun and tread to the truck.Sticking with the period 60's kinda hotrod look and a budget I scored these Cragar Eliminators. I had been watching out for these. They are tough to find as they are discontinued and looking for a match set is tough.17 X 8. Wrapped in 245/45/17 b. f Goodrich comp a/s 2. What a difference in ride and control .

Still have the front sway bar to install. In the the beginning I wanted to make sure the rear wheel tub's would clear any wheel option .I only tacked them together .Now to finish them to come.

Re: The Snortin' bull
Working out another bug. Accuair pressure sensor leaked air.It may of froze condensation? or just became a leaker.I did have it in the middle on one tank on the end of the tank. The Accuair guy's schooled me a bit and than sent me a new sensor. There is a difference in my old sensor and new.Back on the road.

Re: The Snortin' bull
Some new tailgate chain's and the gate rattled a bit in the past ,so a little weatherstrip on the inside edge left and right tightened it up.
