Re: Roadster Project
Thanks x 4...I ended up using the DP90. It's funny , i used to own a body shop a few years ago but forgot hot bad that crap smells. I'd do the milk crate thing but as you can see by this pic (plastic engine), she's not going very far. (BTW, plastic engine and trans are 4 sale)..

Re: Roadster Project
Thinking about selling this bad boy. Just wodering what you guys think would be within reason, price wise. I have an idea of what I'd like to get but it's most likely different from reality.

Re: Roadster Project
Man, I hate to see you give up on it. That's both of the roadster blazer builds given up on in the last month's time. If you can somehow find a cheap block to throw in there and get it running and paint it up you'd get probably twice what you're going to get for it selling as a project.

Re: Roadster Project
That's actually not a bad idea. I didnt think of that. It's tuff because there's so much money in time etc... this market doesnt help.

Re: Roadster Project
I'm not an accountant, but I slept at a Holiday Inn Express once so I'll speak up here. Why not slap a company logo on the roadster and use it for promotional purposes. Pretty sure it is then a company asset and a tax deduction, including every penny that was put into it. I don't know what your company is or does, but if all these companies can get an Orange County Chopper with their name painted on it, I don't see why you can't do this.
Good luck in any case. This is one of the coolest rides being built here.

Re: Roadster Project
Have you listed it FS anywhere? How much are you asking for it?

Re: Roadster Project
Momma wouldnt be too happy,... but I was thinking I'd do something like 10G's. I actually havent listed it anywhere. I've been able to cover my expansion expenses so I havent really put a lot of effort into it. I suppose word of mouth mostly. I was gonna list it here, maybe I will....

Re: Roadster Project
No, I havent burned out. I just see an opportunity to expand my company, and I thought it would be nice to have a few extra bones. Dont really need to sell her, but work is so crazy, I dont have much time for her anyhow.

Re: Roadster Project
Hang in there! this thing is quite amazing and you could finish it pretty quick. Just imagine how cool it would be to cruise this beast! Extra bones are cool too. Rides like this are way cooler

Re: Roadster Project
Best wishes on the sale....Do you have any under hood pics with the PB hinges installed? What did you do with the hinge pockets cut in?
