Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
Yep, heres a couple more. Definitely not road legal but I stayed offroad so all is good.
Split some storm damaged ash, had a big pile of stuff 12 to 20" in diameter. I really like the way ash splits nice and burns clean with high heat output. Just hope emerald ash borer keeps its distance until treatments develop and prices come down. I used to work harder to jockey wood around but these work great, and the toppers keep the snow off.

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
I gotta ask, why is it your trailer has a perfect matched bed to your truck? But the truck has an off shade bed installed?

Re: Lets see pics of your truck hauling!!
My 72 K2500 hauling home her new longbed. She spent most of her life hauling firewood, so I think she's earned her retirement.
Would have gotten better pics, but I was losing daylight by the time I got home and still had to unload.

WWB ... working wood bed
This is where a step side bed is nice. No wheel wells to get in the way. Just push the load right off the back. I am in and out of there in less than two minutes. |

Right at about 1/2 ton (I guess). Didn't break a sweat. Flip with new leafs and shocks, hit the bumps but no axle clang.

All I have on this one was my power stretcher. I have had it loaded down with carpet too. Just can't find the pictures.
