Re: Raising the bed floor 67cheby

Looks awesome! I'm considering running a similar suspension setup with a raised wood bed and trying to get a rough idea of the floor height. Approximately, what's the distance from the top of the notches to the top of the bed rails? Thanks.

Couple things... did you make the battery box or is that a kit, are you planning on sliding the box forward to reduce the gab between the bed and the cab, and are you going to weld a mount onto the that tube work so the front bed support has something to attach to? Looking sweet!

Re: 67cheby DM 3.2 install, W/PB 4link, PB hood hinges

the battery box is a dirt track batt box my friend sells them for $40, yes there will be flat mounting points for the bed, and yes the bed will slide forward a little bit

Just make sure it runs and moves under it's own power and your good to go......they will not allow you to push or trailer in unless it's in the swap meet....

Re: 67cheby DM 3.2 install, W/PB 4link, PB hood hinges

yesterdays progress... stripped the seat covers off of my buddy buckets, discovered i have one 67 seat and one 68 seat, looks like i will have to contour the foam on the 68 seat to match the one on the 67, Next i hinged the pass seat to fold forward like the drivers seat very simple just took an hour or so to do,, Last i put a 2006 jeep grand cherokee rear seat drink holder in the center of my buddy buckets.. i think it pretty sweet what do you guys think
