Thanks guys. She's not running yet. Spent the weekend at the Allstar event in Tennessee so not much progress. Brakes just need bled. New steering shaft is on the way. All the little things should be wrapped up today, along witha little MSD addition. Just need to get this exhaust figured out in such tight quarters.

Re: 71 C10 project "Double Tap"

Not much picture worthy stuff happening. Just been completing the brakes and wiring and hooking up all that necessary dull stuff. The last of my parts have been ordered. So hopefully I can get this thing together in the next few weeks. Oh how the nickels and dimes add up

Re: 71 C10 project "Double Tap"

New steering linkage to clear arm. And just looks better. Truck is at full lift in this picture which is why the arm notch looks off.

I noticed the same thing on mine. I put LED's on my Harley gauges and they really brightened them up. Not so much on the old truck. They still look cool though...

Re: 71 C10 project "Double Tap"

Really? They look like they've got a blue tint to it. I guess I'm used to the standard bulbs being more yellow and making the lighting look more green.

Their more white in person. But I also painted most of the inside white to brighten it up so there's still a hint of green in there. Either way I'm pleased for no more then I have in them.
